The ZNU is an application-oriented research institute in the Faculty of Business and Society at Witten/Herdecke University. We want to impart knowledge and make it applicable. Since 2012, the ZNU Standard Driving Sustainable Change has been supporting companies of all industries and sizes on their journey toward greater sustainability. With its second revision in 2026, it sets new benchmarks: as one of the few sustainability standards, it meets the requirements for accreditation eligibility with the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS), representing the highest standards of quality and reliability.
