Jan Niewodniczanski

Vita

Jan Niewodniczanski, graduate engineer in brewing and beverage technology/MBA, studied at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan and at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town. He began his professional career at Spaten Franziskaner Bräu in Munich and went on to work for Anheuser Busch USA and San Miguel Breweries in the Philippines and China, where he gained extensive international professional experience.

From 1995 to 2006, he held various management positions at South African Breweries SAB Ltd. in South Africa.

He has been back in the family business in Bitburg since 2006 and represents the seventh generation of the owner family as a partner in the management of the Bitburger Brewery Group. He is responsible for technology and the environment and is committed to the sustainable, cross-generational orientation of the company. Sustainable entrepreneurship has been an integral part of the Bitburger family business for generations. Jan Niewodniczanski represents this not least as a member of the ZNU Advisory Board.
