Michael Durach has been Managing Director of Develey Senf & Feinkost GmbH since 1999. Together with his brother Stefan Durach, he is the fourth generation of the family to manage the traditional Bavarian company.

He studied business administration at the University of Regensburg. He began his professional career as a key account manager in the FMCC industry outside the family business and joined the Develey Group in 1995, where he worked in sales and marketing. As Managing Director for the Develey Group, his responsibilities include implementing and monitoring the sustainability strategy, which was awarded the German Sustainability Award in 2020. He has also been a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Sustainable Corporate Governance (ZNU) at Witten/Herdecke University since 2016. In 2019, he was honored with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
